Top Ten
Top Ten Robots for Warehouses (2026)
Match the job first. Tote and cart moves: Locus, MiR, Zebra (Fetch). Dense storage and picking: AutoStore, Exotec, Brightpick. Pallets and the dock: Seegrid, Vecna, Fox Robotics. Early tote-handling pilots: Agility Robotics Digit.
All ten are catalog entries with credited photos, grouped by job rather than ranked.
Brighter Robots helps businesses find the right robot for their operation. Specialized AI agents research the options, check the vendors and run the numbers for manufacturing, warehouses and restaurants. You approve every step.
What warehouse robots do, and how we chose
Warehouse robots split by job. Collaborative AMRs carry totes and carts while people pick. Goods-to-person systems store densely and bring bins to a station. Autonomous forklifts and pallet trucks move pallets. Dock robots load and unload trailers.
Every robot below is in the Brighter Robots catalog with a photo we can credit. Descriptions follow the catalog record and the company’s own site. Where two robots did the same job equally well we preferred the non-Chinese company. Where a Chinese company is listed, origin is labelled. Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau are not mainland China and do not count as Chinese-made.
All ten companies here are headquartered outside mainland China with no Chinese parent in the catalog, so no origin flag was needed.
The list is grouped by job, not ranked. There are no prices on this page; Brighter Robots does not quote vendors.

Why these ten?
- They cover the four jobs: tote and cart moves, dense storage and picking, pallets, and the dock.
- Each has a catalog record and a credited photo, so you can see it and check the source.
- They span a few-robot start (Locus, MiR, Zebra) to a project-sized system (AutoStore, Exotec), so a small 3PL and a large DC both find a fit.
- One humanoid is included on purpose, labelled as pilot-stage, so the list is honest about where that category stands in 2026.
How to use this list
Pick the costliest flow
Picking travel, pallet moves or the dock. One flow. See how to choose a warehouse robot.
Choose the robot type
AMR for carts and totes, goods-to-person for dense picking, autonomous forklift for pallets, dock robot for trailers. If you are weighing mobile robot types, read AMR vs AGV.
Check the building
Aisle width, floor, ceiling height, doors, wireless coverage and your WMS. These rule out whole types fast.
Pilot one
60 to 90 days, one area, written success criteria. Use the robot pilot checklist.

Frequently asked questions
Is this list ranked?
No. It is grouped by job. The best warehouse robot is the one that fits your costliest flow and your building.
Which warehouse robots can a small operation start with?
Collaborative AMRs such as Locus, MiR and Zebra (Fetch) commonly start with a few units. Storage systems like AutoStore and Exotec are project-sized.
Are any of these robots Chinese-made?
No. All ten companies are headquartered outside mainland China with no Chinese parent recorded in the catalog. Where that changes, the catalog origin label changes with it.
Is a humanoid robot ready for my warehouse?
Treat it as a pilot. Agility Robotics Digit is listed because it is in real logistics pilots, not because it replaces a proven AMR or forklift today.
What do warehouse robots cost?
Mobile robots are often sold both outright and by monthly subscription; storage systems are priced as projects. Brighter Robots does not publish prices. We run upfront, monthly and payback for your flow when you contact us.
